
Confederation College is committed to improving campus waste management. To encourage the College community to take full advantage of existing stream sorting we have implemented centralized sorting for all waste, this means:
There are no waste or recycle bins in classrooms.
All waste goes to waste sorting stations located throughout hallways and in common spaces.
You are responsible for disposing of the waste you create when you are on campus.
All waste is sorted into streams to ensure that recyclable materials are recycled.
Each waste sorting station has signage to help you sort your waste properly.
Organic waste on campus is composted onsite using an industrial composter.
