Orientation events are your first step toward a successful college experience. Some sessions, like Program Orientation, are mandatory and provide direct access to your program coordinators and essential tools. Upcoming Orientation Sessions

New and returning students are invited to attend Orientation sessions to get ready for the term. These events are your chance to meet faculty, connect with classmates, and get key details for a strong start.

Program and Campus Orientation is required for all students and takes place Tuesday, January 6, 2026.

  • Thunder Bay

    • 9:00am - 9:30am ET: Opening remarks and hot breakfast (Shuniah D301)

    • 9:30am - 11:00am ET: Program Orientation *mandatory to attend*

      • Business & Business Marketing – Shuniah building C212

      • Business Accounting - Shuniah building 233

      • General Arts & Sciences - Shuniah building C216

      • Health Administration and Leadership - Shuniah building C214

      • Practical Nursing & Personal Support Worker - Shuniah building D301

    • 11:30am - 12:30pm ET: Break

    • 12:30pm - 2:30pm ET: Start Smart - SHU D301

      • Join the Paterson Library Commons for a workshop that will help you prepare to start College!

      • Includes lunch
